What RIOD Charger360
Actually Does
RIOD Charger360 is the intelligent layer between EV chargers and CSMS/CMS platforms. Chargers connect to Charger360, which then manages onboarding, configuration, backend routing, diagnostics, session visibility, and service workflows.
How It Connects
One Platform. Every Charger.
Any Backend.
Chargers connect to RIOD Charger360 over OCPP. Charger360 then handles charger identity, configuration, CSMS routing, monitoring, session data, fault detection, service tickets, and API integrations to your ERP, CRM, fleet, and payment systems.
Because Charger360 is the routing layer, moving chargers to a new backend is a configuration change, not a field visit.

• Charger identity
• Configuration
• CSMS routing
• Health monitoring
• Session logs
• Fault detection
• Service tickets

Charger Onboarding
Add and provision chargers centrally, without touching the physical device. Site-wise grouping, configuration templates, and audit history built in.
- Remote provisioning
- Charger-to-site grouping
- Configuration templates
- Bulk import for large rollouts
Remote Configuration
Update charger settings, tariffs, connectors, and firmware parameters after deployment. Role-based access ensures only authorised users can change critical values.
- Parameter updates over-the-air
- Firmware version tracking
- Configuration diff and rollback
- Role-based access control
CSMS Routing
Each charger can be connected to multiple CSMS platforms simultaneously. Route sessions to any of them per charger, per site, or per customer, without visiting the field.
- Multi-CSMS connectivity per charger
- Site-wise and customer-wise routing
- Remote backend switching across platforms
- Switching audit logs
Diagnostics
Structured fault visibility with error classification and root-cause hints. Repeated faults get flagged automatically for pattern detection.
- Charger health monitoring
- OCPP error-code tracking
- Repeated fault detection
- Alert escalation
Session Visibility
Independent view into charger-side session events and meter values. Compare against your CSMS records for reconciliation and dispute resolution.
- Session start/stop logs
- Meter-value records
- Failed and partial transaction detection
- Reconciliation-ready exports
Service Ticketing
Faults are converted into tickets, assigned to technicians, tracked against SLAs, and closed with resolution notes. Full history stays with the charger.
- Auto-created tickets from faults
- Technician assignment and workload view
- SLA and severity tagging
- Maintenance history per charger
Security & Control
Every critical action is visible, traceable, and permission-controlled.
EV charger operations require secure access, traceable actions, and controlled backend changes. Charger360 is designed with operational accountability in mind.
