Why CMS Integration Is Not Optional
For any public or semi-public charging deployment, the CMS handles user authentication, payment processing, session management, remote monitoring, and analytics. Without it, operators cannot charge users, track revenue, or manage their network.
The charger and CMS need to speak the same language. RIOD uses OCPP 1.6J, the global standard, which means our chargers work with any OCPP-compliant backend without custom firmware or middleware.
