White Label EV Charger Manufacturer
White label gets you a charger under your own brand without a development programme behind it. Ours starts at fifty units, carries your branding, and can go as far as a different enclosure through moulding. It is not locked to our platform and it is not exclusive to anyone.
That trade does not invert automatically at a given volume. Some high volume companies outsource hardware deliberately, to preserve capital and avoid carrying lifecycle engineering. The question is not whether the market is proven, but whether differentiation, certification exposure and warranty responsibility now sit better with you than with a supplier.

What white label actually includes
- Your branding on enclosure, packaging and user interface
- Configuration to your market: power level, connector, language
- Your backend, or ours, or a connection to a third party CMS
- Documentation and support material carrying your identity
- Certification under the applicable scheme for the target market
Private label is the same arrangement under a different name. There is no meaningful commercial distinction in this market, whatever a procurement template calls it.
What it does not include
You are not buying exclusivity over the design unless the agreement grants it, and you are not buying the ability to change the platform. Both are available, but they are different commercial arrangements with different pricing.
When white label is the right call
You are entering a category and need a credible product quickly. You are filling a gap in an existing range where developing your own would not pay back. You are testing a market before committing capital. In each case, speed and low up-front cost matter more than differentiation.
When it stops being the right call
Volume has grown to where platform margin exceeds what development would have cost. Your competitors are selling a visibly similar unit. You need a feature the platform cannot accommodate. Your customers are asking questions about the product that you cannot answer because it is not yours.
This transition is normal and worth planning for rather than resisting.
The path to your own hardware
Moving from a white label product to your own design is a defined transition, not a restart. The market knowledge, the backend integration, the service model and the customer relationships carry over. What changes is that the product becomes yours.
Programmes that plan this from the start make better platform choices, because they know what they will eventually want to change.
How we work with you on this
White label is often sold as a way to avoid a relationship: take the product, put your name on it, deal with us as little as possible. That works until a customer of yours asks a question you cannot answer without us.
So we work the other way. Your team gets access to ours for the technical questions your buyers will ask, and we will train your people to answer the common ones themselves. Where a programme grows into customisation or transfer, the same team carries it, so your product never has to be explained to a new supplier.
What is actually available
- Minimum order quantity of fifty units. This is a volume arrangement rather than a way to buy one or two chargers with a logo on
- Your branding and logo on the product
- Shape and enclosure customisation through moulding, where the volume justifies the tooling
- Your identity in the software as well as on the hardware
- No exclusivity, in either direction. We do not restrict who else we supply and we do not ask you to restrict yourself
If you need one or two units, this is not the right arrangement and we will say so rather than quote for it.
Not locked to our platform
The usual catch with white label is that the hardware carries your brand and the software carries the platform vendor's control.
The endpoints on our chargers are configurable. You set the server they connect to, which means the product can run on your own management platform or on a third party's, not only on ours. Your data goes where you decide.
We are explicit about this because we have been on the other side of it. A charger that cannot be pointed somewhere else is a charger your platform vendor controls, whatever the badge says.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between white label and private label?
Nothing meaningful in this market. Both mean an existing product sold under your brand. Procurement templates use the terms differently, but the commercial arrangement is the same.
Do we get exclusivity?
Only if the agreement grants it. Exclusivity is available as a separate commercial arrangement with its own pricing, not as a default.
Can we change the product?
Configuration yes, platform changes no. If you need changes the platform cannot accommodate, you have outgrown white label and should be looking at ODM.
Can we use our own backend?
Yes. The product speaks OCPP, so it can connect to your CMS, ours, or a third party platform.
When should we move to our own product?
When platform margin at your volume exceeds what development would cost, when you need differentiation, or when the platform cannot accommodate a feature you need.
